As a sixth grader at Jackson Hole Middle School, she briefly joined GAP! before transferring to what is now known as Mountain Academy, but even in that short time, she loved being part of the GAP! community.
After graduating from Mountain Academy, Sarai attended the University of Wyoming, where she earned a degree in Criminal Justice with minors in Spanish and Sociology. A year after graduating, she returned to Jackson and began working as an Office Manager at Jackson Hole Whitewater and while volunteering with adult ESL classes at Teton Literacy Center, she discovered a deeper passion for community work. That experience led to her current role as Enrollment and Communications Coordinator at the Center, where she enjoys connecting with families and helping students feel welcomed and excited to be part of the TLC community.
Now, as a board member of GAP!, Sarai is excited to give back to a program that once welcomed her and to help create spaces where girls feel confident, connected, and empowered to lead.

Katherine ward
Director
Katherine grew up on the east coast and is a graduate of Villanova University. After college she spent about 10 years in the financial services industry in New York City. In 2008 she made a life changing decision to move west to Park City, UT. It was here where she worked on perfecting her skiing, got back into hospitality and restaurants and spent some time thinking about what her next step in life would be. Thinking that this would be a move to San Francisco but instead accepted a job in Jackson Hole for a Destination Management Company. She then went on to work for the Four Seasons and the Teton County Library Foundation. Hospitality runs deep in her bones and brought her to her current role as an active partner (with her husband Andy) in 2 local restaurants. When she isn’t planning events at the restaurants or working on the next seasons menu, you can find her boating on the Jackson Lake with her husband and 2 daughters. Katherine feels very passionate about GAP! and its mission.
